Terms & Conditions
Last updated May 26, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the KidCash app. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using KidCash, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What KidCash is — and isn't
KidCash is a private tool that helps parents track allowances, automate recurring payments, and teach children to save. KidCash is not a bank, money-transfer service, debit card, or financial product, and it does not hold, move, or process real money. Balances in the app are simply a record you maintain for educational and organizational purposes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to use KidCash. The app is operated by you, the adult — not by children.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your device and any app lock credentials secure.
- Ensure the information you enter is accurate and appropriate.
- Understand that the app is a record-keeping and teaching aid, not a source of financial advice.
No financial advice
KidCash does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. The “interest” feature is an educational tool that you configure; it does not represent a real financial return, rate, or product.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use KidCash for personal, non-commercial family use, subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store terms.
Acceptable use
- Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.
- Don't resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app.
- Don't use the app in any unlawful way.
Intellectual property
KidCash and its design, logos, names, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. You are responsible for your own data and for maintaining backups (for example, through iCloud).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
Data & privacy
Your use of KidCash is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is stored and protected.
Apple App Store
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. (Confirm and complete before publishing.)
